Who is Tilly Bloom?
Tilly is a Scottish lass in her '20's who lives with her husband and 2 cats - Eyebrow & Artichoke - in an apartment full of books, antiques and curiosities.
She moved from the shadow of a gothic Scottish castle to the sparkling metropolis of New York, 10 years ago, where she learned to stop worrying and love the bagel.
Tilly's mind is very visual and a rather literal - which turns out to be quite good for turning idioms into necklaces. A visual artist since childhood, sight, blindness and eyes are always cropping up in her work. She has been making unique Illustration Jewelry since 2007.
Her inspirations include the Victorian Era, surrealism, eyes, monochrome, folktale's, creatures, the absurd, dolls, Sci-fi, diagrams, faces and inanimate objects.
